The server part of AVE 2 consists of these servers:

The servers are designed as independent subsystems running as a Windows service with minimal need for configuration. Advantages of this solution are maximum flexibility in meeting customer demands, simple system administration and flexible solutions in hardware or other failure. The servers use relational databases for saving data. MS SQL Server or Oracle can be used for data storage, but ideally, MS SQL Server 2008 EE database system is recommended.
